Mary Church-Terrell was one of the first African American women to earn a college degree, and an activist who fought for racial equality and also women’s suffrage. Passionate about education and civil rights she never stopped pushing and used her social standing to fight for change.

Abstract fluid painting created with layers of alcohol ink and *extra* metallic shimmer – life is better when you add a little sparkle.

The entire Fiercely Feminine Collection embodies strength and confidence. Soft pastel colors accented with bold intense colors tells the complex and beautiful story of each female hero. Each piece represents a woman in history with a story- a story of courage, strength, and determination.
